Ashby Foote wins Jackson Ward 1 City Council race
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Incumbent Jackson City Councilman Ashby Foote (I) is the apparent winner of the Ward 1 City Council race.
The unofficial results showed Foote received 1,739 votes. Grace Greene (I) received 1,731 votes, and Jasmine Barnes (D) received 1,716 votes. This comes after officials finished counting the ballots on June 11.
